Our Wedding

The first time we stepped onto the finca, we knew it was right.A hidden poem written into the Mediterranean landscape - the light, the sea, the gardens, and the way time seems to stretch here.Perched in the hills above Altea, this elegant estate has watched over the bay since 1924, when it was built as a peaceful retreat by Don José Beneyto Rostoll for the Marquises of Campo-Fértil.Today, it remains beautifully preserved, with lush trees, stone paths, and terraces opening onto endless views of the sea.For us, it captures everything we adore about Spain: The warmth, beautiful light, rhythm of the ocean, and the rare feeling of being fully present in a moment of joy.***As parts of the finca are set on natural stone paths and garden terrain, we recommend lower heels and shoes with good soles.

About the venue 

Schon beim ersten Betreten der Finca wussten wir, dass dies der richtige Ort ist.Ein verborgener Schatz inmitten der mediterranen Landschaft – geprägt vom Licht, vom Meer, von den Gärten und von einer Zeit, die hier langsamer zu vergehen scheint.In den Hügeln oberhalb von Altea gelegen, blickt dieses elegante Anwesen seit 1924 auf die Bucht. Es wurde von Don José Beneyto Rostoll als privater Rückzugsort für die Marquise von Campo-Fértil erbaut.Bis heute ist die Finca sehr gut erhalten geblieben; mit alten Bäumen und Terrassen, die sich zum weiten Ausblick auf das Meer öffnen.Für uns vereint dieser Ort all das, was wir an Spanien lieben – die Wärme, die besondere Stimmung, den Rhythmus des Meeres und das seltene Gefühl, ganz im Jetzt zu ruhen.***Da Teile der Finca über Steinwege und Gartenflächen führen, empfehlen wir nicht zu hohe Absätze oder Schuhe mit stabilen Sohlen zu tragen.

Our wedding will take place at Finca Marqués de Montemolar, just outside Altea, around 10 minutes away by car. Apart from Altea, there are several lovely towns in the immediate area that make wonderful places to stay. Calpe is approximately 20 minutes from the finca, and Moraira around 30 minutes by car. We recommend staying in the area around the venue so you can enjoy the coast at a relaxed pace. Staying further away, like in Valencia, would involve a significantly longer drive on the wedding day.
